Dr. Ryosuke Kuroda is a Professor & Chairman of Kobe University Graduate School of Medicine, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.
He was selected for the Patellofemoral travelling fellowship of ISAKOS in 2007, as well as the traveling fellowship of APOSSM-ESSKA in 2010. His research work focuses on biology and biomechanics of the knee joint, including ligament, cartilage, meniscus and patellofemoral joint disorders.
Since 2000, he has been a member of ISAKOS Board of Director (2013-), and member of strategic committee (2015-). Furthermore, he is the education committee member of APKASS (2014-), the vice president of ACL Study Group (2018-). He has been appointed an associate editor of the Knee Surgery Sports Traumatology and Arthroscopy Journal.
He has been team doctor for Vissel Kobe (Japanese division I soccer league), Orix Buffaloes (Japanese division I baseball league), and Kobelco Steelers (Japanese division I rugby league).
